After many years of involvement with Liberian politics at the highest level, including presidential politics, Mr. Brumskine has returned to the full-time practice of law. He has since reorganized Brumskine & Associates, serving as its Senior Partner. K. Soko Sackor, a former Associate Justice, serves as the firm’s Managing Partner, and Carlos B.Z. Smith, who was in-house counsel for the Liberia operation of the steel giant, ArcelorMittal, immediately prior to joining Brumskine & Associates, now serves as a firm Partner.

There has been established a pro bono section within Brumskine & Associates, embracing the social obligation of giving back to the country through legal services without charge for cases, the resolution of which will have community and/or national impact. Our pro bono services also include serving as consultants to government and other institutions of the public sector, such as the Constitution Review Commission.
